How can I become a member of Forestbrook Baptist?
FBC receives prospective members into our church family in either of the following ways:
- By Profession of Faith, which means you make a public announcement that you have asked our Lord Jesus Christ into your heart to be your personal Savior.
- By Transfer of Letter, which means you desire to move your membership from another church of like faith. (Note: Our church secretary will request your letter after you have joined FBC).
- By Baptism, which means you are saved and you desire to follow our Lord in "Believer's" baptism, symbolically identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection. (Note: "Believer's" baptism can only follow salvation.)
- By Statement of Faith, which means your church letter has been destroyed or lost. You may join our church based upon your statement that you have been scripturally saved, and have experienced "Believer's" baptism by immersion.
